A bit like Christmas?
By which I mean, for those "in the groove", a pleasant enough thing.
For those "not in the groove but wanting to be in the groove", a bit of a minefield of expectations/feelings of exclusion/confusion.
And for those who think "the groove is a bit fabricated", something to smile and wave your way through, not needing to piss off those who enjoy it, sympathetic to those struggling, but not really buying into it.
That has loud echoes of Christmas to me. |

I don’t really agree with valentines, if you love someone you love them all year with small gestures.
not with overpriced items and a £500 a night room to do the same 2 positions you do at home.
Maybe I’m just bitter.

Never experienced any "extra" loving on Valentines Day with new experiences/being taken away somewhere to even be able to tell you!
I don't hate the day but I've never had a reason to enjoy it either. |

You need to treat Valentine's Day like you treat this place.
Just send the same card to lots of different women and hope one of them replies.
