Actually fairly okay! Thank you. Currently sorting my washing out and doing other household-y tasks, but I just found something out (which I posted as a thread on here a moment ago), and going to look more into it.
What about yourself OP? x |

"So so.
Excited for one thing. But just got some frustrating news that’s thrown me a bit.
Ach, that's pants. I hope that you're able to get back on kilter when you're ready to. x"
Thanks lovely, hope you’re well? |

Ahh, sorry to hear that Estella :-/ I hope it doesn't give you too much agro. Whenever frustrating things happen, it's good to just ride it out if you get me? Almost everything in life is impermanent, so nothing lasts. As reassuring or terrifying as that may sound lol. |

Im hanging on in there, shift work is getting harder and harder the older I get. Two nights to go and then a nice long break which I’m very much looking forward to. Just got to keep it together for two more shifts.
Thanks for asking Meli, hope you’re doing okay ? |

Fairly OK is good! Happy to read it. If the something thread is the one on internal monologues, I'm glad you posted that, it's really interesting to read how others' minds work. x |

I’m good thank you, lovely x
Well….I was admittedly highly perturbed by a chap earlier who opted to go to the middle urinal in an otherwise empty room - which is highly poor urinal etiquette and not the done thing to do!
But good other than that |

Have you ever noticed that lower-case handwritten "urine" looks very similar to "wine"?
I wouldn't say it irks me, but it dangles an invitation towards irksome a little. |

ah thanks! Meli x. am happy to post interesting topics/subjects I come across if people enjoy reading them. I'm not that mainstream with my lifestyle to be honest because I tend to look into and study things that aren't usually spoken about much in the mainstream, which makes it trickier for me to make friends, but I learn a lot about a lot of things so I guess that's a plus lol. |

Ahhh my handwriting…. It is equally illegible from any angle
If I write ‘Urine’, it can be interpreted in any number of ways depending how one squints and grimaces to discern it |

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales) |
I’m good! It’s sunny and I’m gardening with a bit of music in the background. Just stopped for a nice cold drink.
BUT!!!!
The aeroplanes going into Alicante are doing loads of circles leaving a real tangle of con trails. (I mean loads!). It’s looks pretty but now I’m wondering if something is happening at the airport. Or a zombie apocalypse.

Does it ever say "Kill them! Kill them all now!"?
That would be vexing. |

Bit of a mixed bag really.... been trying to get some stuff done which I have done but now I feel absolutely exhausted.... just mentally done in how about you ?"
Ach LittleMiss, that does sound exhausting. Mental exhaustion is well and truly draining. Now you've got stuff done are you able to switch off, even if for a little bit? x |

"how are you today?"
Overwhelmed, in need of reassurance and a massive bear hug.
Feeling crushed by responsibility with no help from those who should. Sad and angry at myself for being naive and for someone taking the piss out of me. I've done something about it but I hated it. |

Emotionally/mentally we're fine though, thank you for asking.

You're poorly? Noooo. There are so many things going around atm, I'm just getting out of being under the weather myself. |

So, how are YOU Meli?

Shhhitttttt.
It all depends where it is though. Ok? I'm not saying that flippantly or without empathy, I'm saying that from experience.
I wish for you the best outcomes for the challenges you'll come across going forward xx |

Hello Sensual, x
That's so odd. I don't even use a urinal and know that's not the done thing. People are odd, aren't they? I do love it though.
Glad you're good, hopefully good enough to do a raunchier thread soon. Wait, I should try and do a subtle hint. Nope, not going to. |

"how are you today?
Apart from having a raspy cough I'm struggling to shake off (which is normal for me) and feeling shattered after an energetic weekend, I'm pretty good.
How about you, OP?"
That shattered feeling after an energetic weekend is good but yes - sometimes I make sure I have time off on the Monday so I can recover properly.
I'm trying to not make the thread about me, you know? I like reading other people. |

Oh that sounds so idyllic you lucky man, you. I've started mentally working out what needs to be done/purchased for the garden so I can finally get the full country cottage garden of my dreams.
Really hope it's not a zombie apocalypse, kind of like the world as it is. Might ruin a few plans as well. |

"I'm cool....
Smiling inwardly to myself.
Not happy, not sad.
Just OK and I'm cool with that."
Cool is good. OK is as well. Sometimes there's this pressure, almost expectation that you have to be bouncing from the walls or cocooned in your bed and goblining away. Sometimes just being is good. |

I sometimes worry about always being upbeat - I think that something will come along and bump me off the happy road. "
No Granny, no. Something won't. It might, actually. But you'll be able to face it, whatever it is. Being upbeat is a gift. A celebration of life. I hope that continues for a long time for you, x |

I think the best way to describe my mood is borderline hysteria. But in a happy kinda way.
I’ve returned to work after 2 months off and walked into restructured chaos with loads more work to deal with. But I’m enjoying the challenge and the learning so Tis all good. Now time for some physical challenging before I eat. Life is slightly bonkers but good here |

Hey Mar, in lieu of a real life bear hug I'll send you a virtual one instead, x
I wish I could offer you real reassurance but I can't. Instead, I'll say, I'm sorry you've had to do something you've hated in order to do something about crap.
I really hope things improve for you soon, I'd like to say they will. And you get a much deserved real life hug. x |

"Anxious...been told I have a brain tumour..Ricky...seeing drs team in a couple of weeks to discuss operation. Been told could be paralysed after op...."
Ach Ricky. I'm quite guarded but this touched me. At the beginning of last year I went through something similar. Minus the operation. But all the urgent referral appointments, the waiting in emergency clinics, the consultant appointments. I'm still under consultant care and will be for a long time.
It'd be easy for me to say you'll get through it. I don't know that. What I do know? Speaking to friends, to loved ones, even if not about the subject will truly help. The people I truly love, my friends helped me get through that dark period. Their reassuring messages. The daft memes when I sat in waiting room after waiting room. So, keep talking. About anything and everything. Doing what you need to to get through it. I have every hope you do. |
