My 40 mile radius !!

I put this in my profile because i do not want to be travelling up and down the entire country looking and waiting for meets that don't often turn up anyway.
I am getting a bit miffed today with this, so i feel the need to give out a little Geography lesson to those that have no idea what a 40 mile radius is !!
Essex is not 40 miles from scotland
Manchester
Liverpool
Birmingham
or the West coast.
These are places where i am getting most of my messages from....
So guys come on if you don't know get the atlas out or even a sat nav may help !!

I've had a few messages from Ireland lately from guys that can't travel but can accom. My profile says can't accom or travel unless within reason using public transport... I'm near Dover. Not sure how many buses/trains and a boat it would take me to get to Ireland but its definitely not 'within reason' lol. |

When i had my first ever meet through a site 3 years ago, I was really worried about my family and friends finding out that I did a 270 mile round trip! She turned out to be fabulous and is now a friend, and yes I still make the journey every now and then.  |

Its secure a meet first then work out how to get there!

'google maps' is very useful..just send them the link and let them work it out for themselves . Annoys me too but as I dont meet it doesnt matter who I chat with but you are right if they not bright enough to work out distance they would bore me rigid in 5 mins.  |

worse still is the "as the crow flies" distance calculation, so sites like this and pof keep suggesting women in bloody wales, cos it's as close as truro or bournemouth... but there is the fucking £6.20 toll....
... I can understand paying to fucking get OUT of wales, but paying to get in, that's taking the piss.... |

I have no more than an hour on mine, Carlisle, Plymouth, London, Taunton, Truro are way more than an hour  yea but I can drive they say, right plus I meet socially first, so for example, Carlisle to Gloucester is 4 hrs 5 mins a very long way to go for a chat and a coffee don't you think  |
