What’s your favourite chore?

What’s your least favourite?

What’s on today’s priority do list?

I’m going to opt for enjoying cooking most, ironing least and to say I need to sort the recycling and clean my floor. Right, come on Estella, get to it!!

I enjoy food shopping - That's a chore, right?

I hate ironing my shirts. They are non-iron but, still need a light going over.

Love hoovering, probably too much though where it’s a problem.

Hate putting dry washing away especially if it’s a big load.

Get to the skip today with the rubbish as we missed bucket day so that’ll be fun in this weather x mrs x

Somewhere In The Ether…

I absolutely loathe changing bedding.

It seems to take a grim eternity for so little reward (other than clean sheets and pillow cases)

Hoovering is rather therapeutic however I find; Possibly this is due to the metronomic relaxation induction as bequeathed by the lulling sound frequency.

….maybe. I dunno

Traffic land

I love hanging washing out on the line!

I loathe ironing (my ironing board now lives in the garage and I’ve used it once in the 5 months I’ve lived here).

I’ve laundry to do and my vacuum to take apart to find out why it’s not working. (And then vacuuming if I can get it to work!)

I don't necessarily have a favourite chore, but the one's I most easily sink into and can do effortlessly is cooking, washing up, drying and putting stuff away. Doing laundry and hoovering. I would say the one I find trickiest to sink into is house cleaning cos of keeping the flow going from top to the bottom.

That seems a bit unfair. How about I'll iron one shirt if you put my washing up in your dishwasher, you clean the oven and dust. Clean the bathroom as well and I'll iron 2 of your shirts, can't say fairer than that!

Ironing relaxes me. Whack a movie on the TV, and leave me to it

Favourite - washing the car

Worse - ironing

Today's priority - don't look at the "to do" list!

I hate them all equally.

I used to enjoy cleaning my windows in Spring and putting up freshly washed nets.

Strangely, I felt more pockets of happiness then, even though I was living with an abusive partner.

I don’t do them as often as I should, but not many I really hate, the sense of accomplishment, and knowing I’m up to date is very pleasing

Probably washing the carpets, I do it every couple of weeks as light carpets, a soggy garden, dogs and 3 teenagers means they get mucky very quickly.

Favourite but: putting the ironing board away.
