St Leonards

Pinky and The Brain

Phineas and Ferb

And some of the early Bugs Bunny stuff was really subversive, well-written, and proved that you can do intelligent and popular at the same time.

Too many from when I was younger.

Amazing Spider-Man/Gummy Bears(don’t ask)/cities of gold. And even more as I was growing up - Kimpossible/ Recess and even a few year ago I found more to enjoy Phineas and Ferb / Gravity Falls / Amazing world of Gumball. All hilarious.

Not going to list my child hood ones but as a sort of grown-up, I liked Dexter's lab and when I was even less grown up: I love Pinky and the Brain.

Or maybe Batman TAS, Captain Caveman, Dungeons & Dragons, He-Man & MotU, Hong Kong Phooey, Inspector Gadget, Ivor the Engine, Scooby-Doo, Wacky Races, X-Men TAS.

I could go on. But you get the idea. I like cartoons.

One of my favourites was ‘Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors’, written by none other than J. Michael Straczynski, the creator of Babylon 5. I also liked the Transformers cartoons.

Oh, and a series originating from Japan called ‘Star Fleet’ (or ‘X-Bomber’ in Japan) was also one of my favourites, albeit this was more of a puppet show than cartoon, but it still had some cartoon-style special effects. Some of the English-speaking actors who dubbed the voices for the UK version were very well known too
