The diversity of people. I’ve chatted with and/or met people who I’d otherwise not run into outside of Fab because we run in distinctly different circles.
The unique experience of discovering them and their views/experiences has made this place lovely.
I’ve a partner who I’d otherwise not normally cross paths with, and thanks to Fab we’ve met and have embarked on a beautiful adventure in life together. That’s the beauty of this place. When it’s good, it’s good. |

There's some really lovely people on here who've made us feel very welcome. We're not the most active as a couple (a few know why) and are very green around the ears (not physically ) but we've still made some lovely connections.

I see it as a tiny, noble, flawed, yet worthwhile part of giving we silly humans a chance to be a bit more "real" than everyday culture allows.
And in the process, that eventually filters out (takes decades) to the rest of the culture and changes it, a little for the better.

I love the myriad of views, the opportunities to spend time with people I wouldn't normally come across. I love the different ways we approach things, the various things we're looking for.
I like the support, love and genuine friendship that can come from Fab. And the fucking.

As the stereotypical married mum in a small town - fab has given me the opportunity to explore things that would otherwise be practically impossible. I love being able to discuss anything and everything on the fora and show parts of me I usually keep hidden (wink wink).
I've also connected with some delightful people on a friendship level, which I wasn't expecting. So hurrah for fab!

I actually love the privilege of learning about people’s lives and experiences. It’s helped me understand things (myself included) a little more. It grounds me and reminds me how much we are all human. And gives me hope and faith for us all. I love the positivity. |
