How many fence panels are you missing?

I've just lost two. That might double.

I did think one was going to take my window out as well but it seems trapped for now.

Have to admit I'm slightly scared.

Being single sucks when you're a weak shortarse and not able to just go pick up a fence panel off the lawn

When I did the erection (snigger…….erection), I made damn sure they weren’t moving once I’d finished.

My neighbours has gone as well and last time that happened he charged me because of one my storage things was in his garden and he claimed it took his panel out.

I have video proof it wasn't me this time.

Titz Towers, North Notts

So far, none. When I came off shift on Saturday morning some trellis had come down, which my neighbour had ignored, so I had to go onto their and fix it back into position.

It's right in front of his living room window, and as much as I like him, stuff like this is a bit irritating.

fence panels are a good cheap option for fencing and privacy but not good at staying up in high winds coz they dont let the wind through and act like a sail after a few years and a stong enough wind they collapse,,

My local sex health clinic tell us orally over the phone we are clear and said it is only in writing if there is a sti present ! Do you have private testing?

Random!!!

I get texts to sent to my phone from the clinic saying they are negative and lists the tests. That's through NHS clinic. Same happens if you go through SH:24 testing that you can get through the post. Only I damaged my finger tip with the small prick for that so I go to the clinic so someone else can do the bloods properly.

I actually don't know what happens if they come back positive though so I couldn't tell you on that side of it.

You can replace these with a more resilient fencing material now you know which way the wind is likely to be heading in from. Something natural, light, strong like willow would also allow for the wind to go through it.

It's a complete wind tunnel here, it sucks. I'm not sure which way the wind goes. It bows one way then the other and it's pot luck which direction actually takes it out.

A wall would cost an absolute fortune for just my side which is eight panels.

I'd then have to convince three neighbours on the rest. One of which is a council house and the council don't replace fencing unless it's on a public footpath.

If it's likely to be a risk, and it's safe to do so, take it down before it damages anything. You can then get a big mug of tea and look for fencing ideas online.

I've no idea what Wales do on this stuff. But I know in London which isn't far from me there's various places to get tested.

Someone Ive seen in the past logged in online to show me theirs in front of me. Not sure what he used now. Some results even include your name in the message as I've seen people with those. My name isn't in mine but thay could be screeshotted and reused by someone else falsely which I why I insist if seeing the result in someones phone and show mine the same way.

The neighbour has lost one big one - which he or the previous owner should have replaced ages ago - and is likely to lose another. I've sorted the first one out so it doesn't come crashing through our back window. I don't really want to have to go round and say "Look mate...", but...

I'd suggest "through and through" fencing, which has gaps to allow the wind through better than the usual sort of wooden fence.

There's no way I'm going out there to wrestle a fence panel in the wind. I mean I'm thankful I'm now heavier and wouldn't get blown away myself but I still don't fancy it. It's holding but keeps blowing in either direction with the wind because the uprights are no longer on the dam fence. It need to split in the middle I think to be taken out by the wind. Im not sure it'll go. I could be wrong.

its all about doing a proper job as a couple have mentioned, i go to the extremes and wether a concrete post or wooden , i driil through and the force a bolt or rod into the panel so it cant move / blow out.

However if the wind is actually destroying the panel , its possibly a cheaper budget panel , your best with heavy duty ones..

4th one gone.

I've only three and a half left.

(You can probably do the maths and work out the length of my back garden now )

Smirking childishly about the back garden posts.

Amazingly my fence is fine, but the wind keeps lifting the lids off the wheelie bins.

Non. Because I used to lose a few because the way the houses are near my my garden is like the end of a wind tunnel. So I drilled a couple of small (1") holes in hoping it would alleviate the pressure on the panels.....so far so good.

"I've just lost two. That might double.

I did think one was going to take my window out as well but it seems trapped for now.

Have to admit I'm slightly scared.

Being single sucks when you're a weak shortarse and not able to just go pick up a fence panel off the lawn

"

For once.. None. All brick wall.

How about three phone calls today from old customers? I don’t even do that job anymore, and haven’t for many years.
