I think for somewhere like this it is very much physically based attraction or desirability. Those who are closer to standardised beauty ideals will be much more sought after.
In the real world, it is more nuanced. Personality, humour or just the way someone handles themselves can increase their attractiveness.
Just my thoughts anyway

Age seems to be the fly in my ointment. My 'on paper' age is considerably higher than how I come across in real life, and it's somewhat interesting how my experiences vary when people know my actual age (or I get filtered out) vs in face to face scenarios where I meet people and they just assume I'm a decade or even a bit more younger than I actually am. I've kinda learned to deal with it though. |
