So, in my brief time here frequenting the site and the shadow realm, I have come to learn the following usual Bingo terms on profiles. They also now reside on my profile, as a nod and a wink to you perv’s.
FAB Bullshit Bingo;
- Quality over quantity
- Not bathed in Listerine
- Not looking to make my way through FAB
- Professional
- No Fella’s (I’m not looking for men)
- No Dick Pics
- Safety First
- If you’ve made this far, well done
- I won’t accept random friend requests
- Happy Fabbing
Question is what other bingo terms are missing, that make you go ‘Bingo’ soon as you see them? They can be profile nomenclature or message. |

"Never seen the bathed in listerine comment on a profile.
I've seen "I know what soap is", which makes me wonder if it's an exotic concept to them."
Yeah, I've seen the soap reference, just never seen a reference to teeth or listerine personally, and I have been here a long time. Perhaps with the OP being male and viewing female profiles, it is a female thing ? |

Why are those terms bullshit? Well not bathed in Listerine might be (to be honest never seen that one). But what is bullshit about saying no dick pics or not accepting random friend requests?
Come across as a rather patronising way to taking the piss out of people genuinely expressing preferences.

Many thanks for the question and an opportunity to set it right with you. It’s a turn phrase used in normal social nomenclature.
Buzzword bingo or Bullshit bingo is generally played in situations where an audience feel that the speaker is relying too heavily on buzzwords or jargon, the language used often includes predictable references to arcane concepts, which are perfect for use in the creation of buzzword bingo cards.
You’d find there’s Office Bullshit Bingo, Football Commentary Bullshit bingo, Customer Services Bullshit Bingo; plus many many others.
It’s not my term that I’ve made up - I assure you.
I’m sorry you may take exception to it here on FAB; the terms that people choose to use on their profile, if they resonate, if they are appropriate are fine to be used, dang I have on my own profile. This thread is about identifying the most common ones, satirically. No one in this thread is patronising anyone else.
Seriously, there are bigger hills to stand on, but I appreciate being able to provide clarity.
Best regards

Gosh where do you start haha
‘Not here to meet, just catching up with old friends’. - Erm isn’t that what Facebook is for
‘Won’t share face pics, trust me you won’t be disappointed’.
- Well how am I going to recognise you and what if I don’t find you attractive? Haha

Thank for that and not all patronising. I understand the concept just not the application.
"the speaker is relying too heavily on buzzwords or jargon, the language used often includes predictable references to arcane concepts" - not sure how saying no dick pics or uninvited friends invite not accepted fall into this category, perhaps technically just about, but fair enough. Often end up with threads that are dressed up as humour but basically patronising piss-taking. I think one of the reasons so few on Fab join in on Forum.
Anyway, I'll play along if all just a bit of fun and no offence intended.....
I'll add "Sapiosexual" to the buzzword jargon list |

You definitely should, it’s certainly growing in popularity, now people are learning its meaning.it’s going to be on the list soon enough.
The two terms sapiophile and sapiosexual are used interchangeably, but have slight derivations. Keep that bingo monitor going .
Keep well friend.

"Cheating on your partner?! I'm NOT interested! Well, unless you're hot. I just like to say this so I look all sweet and innocent."
.
It's funny if someone messages me and they're cheating I'm not interested but in a club environment I don't even think to ask. |

"What does "Sapiosexual" even mean if you're a thick c**t?
That you find intelligence/ intellectual qualities extremely attractive."
I know.
What I'm saying is, if someone who claims to be a Sapiosexual, is also dumb as a bag of cement, does this make them 'easy'? |

BTW I've only just noticed OPs username lol this isn't aimed at him, but I am noticing people just saying they're "Sapiosexual" on their profile, & yet their opinions & level of communication in messages sent to my inbox, indicates they'd struggle to spell their own name without their phones auto-correct helping them. At this point people are just copy-pasting words they don't understand into their profile text so it's another one for the bingo. |

What are you’re describing is called the Boris Johnson syndrome. Some fakes purposely speak & act in a way that thick people imagine clever people do. |

A woman once messaged me to say she was delighted to find a fellow sapiophile on here.
That was based on the way my profile is structured and I also had two pics with books in them one of which I was using to cover my modesty.
Her subsequent messages were full of big words and phrases I had never heard of and they made no sense whatsoever.
She literally had judged a book by it's cover.
I'm not a sapiophile or sapiosexual so she couldn't have been more wrong. |

I guess this is the opposite end of the scale from copy-pasting words you've seen other people use into your own profile, where people turn into a caricature of an intellectual & swallow the whole merriam-webster dictionary in the hope you won't notice she's waffling...
At least it seems like she tried, even if it was all arse backwards..
The ones who typically contact me will just ask if I can 'meet now' and if they've even bothered to type the letter 'o' in now they've already put in an unusual amount of effort |
