Kind of. Part of me can be a bit sad but it is freeing.
I don't like giving up on people or things. That's a big weakness of mine but sometimes? It's so fucking satisfying when it just *clicks*. And you realise that you're free from whatever. |

I think the good kind of giving up is when they made no effort to give reason not to give up at all, not even a hint of it. |

Yes. If someone makes it very evident that it's the right thing to do, it's so much easier. Painless really and very much in line with the liberating feeling Misty Toes mentioned in her OP. |

I've recently blocked someone on everything. Because I don't want the mental gymnastics that come with that 'relationship'. But actually I feel the callous cold hearted bitch for doing it even though I have good reason. I feel like I've just disposed of someone I actually adore in many ways and dislike in others. It feels shit.
And there's plenty I would not have given up on if they had just sat and had a conversation with me face to face.
But with others that caused me pain or anguish or were completely out line or lied to me. Yes finally not giving shit can be a great liberating feeling. |
