"If you’ve not already bought it, which will you buy?
Roses. Quality Street. Celebration. Heroes?
None as they all cum in plastic now"
Wait?? Quality Street is in a plastic tub?
What a crock of shit!!!! |

You can still get them tins
But it's more commonplace to see them in plastic these days.

"I already bought all of them 2 months ago when they were 4 quid each in tescos... our willpower is strong! Still uneaten "
They wouldn’t have lasted the 1st weekend with my kids. |

I don't usually buy any as we get given them. But if I do it'll be roses or quality street. I don't really like the others. There seems little point buying tiny versions of chocolates I can have any time of year. It doesn't feel special, it just feels more of a rip off than "fun" size bars |

Less in the tubs this year and they cost more.
I got 2 pouches from Morrisons for £5.00 with the more card.
Probably best to wait until the tubs are 1/2 price in the sales |

So far I have bought a tub of Quality Street and one of Heroes for the Grandkids when they come round, the two girls both have sweet teeth and what is left in the tub when it is home time they stuff into their pockets, needless to say I will be buying some more on Saturday.
My Grandson is an odd one as he only likes Toblerone and that is not available in tubs so I have to buy him a few bars.
All in all it is going to be an expensive Christmas.

Tofiffee are nice. Had them since childhood. Did they always exist over here as well?
Or some ferrero rocher or raffaello for me please.

Buy one of each.
Tip them on the floor
Mix them all up
Scoop the mixture back into the tubs
You can add things like fererro roche into the mix too to spice it up |

I never buy those brands of chocolate at Christmas, I get given so much of it by my parents at work I don't need too.
If I do buy Chocolate then I always buy boxes from Hotel Chocolat and keep them by in case anyone pops over

I live on my own and have little impulse control around chocolate. So none as it would be a terrible idea.
I'll treat myself to a nice selection from my favourite vegan brand instead (Conscious Chocolate if anyone cares, and if you like rose turkish delight their "love potion No9" is to die for) |
