Simple..name your favourite zombie film and also recommend another
P.s anyone who picks 28 days later should be ashamed of themselves and I will ask mods to remove you from here and the Internet in general x |

Ahhh another one I must recommend based upon both its originality and for a wonderfully happy ending (something virtually unheard of in the zombie sub genre!) - Warm Bodies starring our very own, Nicholas Hoult |

That’s so lovely for a zombie flick |

"Is there one called 27 days later, maybe it has a sequel? They would be a good zombie movie I reckon. If they did that. Probably.
I need a mod urgently lol x"
It’s a grey area not needing mod shaped intervention.
Probably. |

And two big recommendations now: The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue (what a title!) Aka. Don’t Open The Window/Let Sleeping Corpses Lie) - an early 1970’s Italian/Spanish co production that was shot here in the UK amidst the scenic beauty of the Lake District and….
The absolute classic that is: Zombi (aka Zombie Flesh Eaters): Probably director Lucio Fulci’s best film and delightfully gory

Avoiding the obvious ones...
[REC] and [REC]2 - Ignore the others
The Last Man On Earth - The progenitor of Romero’s movies
Pet Sematary - Becomes so much more horrifying if you’re a parent.
The Dead Don’t Die - So weird. But if you like Bill Murray...
The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue
The Serpent & The Rainbow - The scary part is...ITS REAL...Technically
Nightmare City - I don’t care what anyone says. These are the first running zombies on screen
Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things - Soooo boring But the ending makes up for it |

Absolutely agree with Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things.
The film drags interminably but when the zombies do FINALLY appear - it’s absolute gold |

"Don’t forget Hammer’s classic, Plague Of The Zombies (surprisingly the studios only foray into the genre)"
If you like Hammer...
Checkout Dr.Terrible’s House Of Horrible. Steve Coogan’s satire of all the movies |

I really like that film. "
I found a way to almost reference it, in a subtle way. |

I was a zombie in Shaun of the Dead, so I'm biased.
But any of Romero Dead Trilogy (some of us prefer to think that they ended there...) and Fulci's Zombi 2 (aka Zombie Flesh Eaters).
For batshit insane, go for Nightmare City, where zombies aren't just out to bite human flesh - they're armed with machine guns, too!!!!
Or how about Burial Ground? You want a zombie kid biting off his mother's tit? But how about if that "kid" is actually played by a 30 year-old dwarf???? |
