I struggled with the maths but it helped as the teacher was stunning and helped and would always rest her boobs on the desk as they almost burst out of her top and could always see her knicker line (thong) |

Chemistry. Just couldn't see any logic in the formulae. And although I was initially confused with Algebra, I had a cousin who explained it too me much better than the teachers. Once I got it then was fine with Physics as it followed same rules . BUT Chemistry??? Just never understood it. Only later I realised you couldn't actually apply same maths you had to just remember the stuff as the reactions were different. Still unsure why the fucking teacher just didn't start off explaining that at the start. . Still annoyed about that 60 years later lol. |

Let's see...
French - Teacher hated me used to play 'bollocks' with Michelle
English - Same: swapped papers with a mate in a different class and proved it - that caused a stink
Art - Draw something, rip it up, stick it back together, draw it again???
CDT - Saw fights with Nikki to get thrown out and go for a ciggie.
History - Meh but had a crush on the teacher.
PE - Meh unless it was football
Music - Teacher was evil made us play the recorder for 3 years. Noise drove me nuts. Isolation was preferable. |

"Je n'aimais pas le French
This for me. My French teacher was a dick.
100% hated at school coz of teacher, studied French at college and loved it. "
Some teachers don't like their job and don't realise how that reflects on their students. |

Oh god, I hated accountancy. As soon as we were able to choose our subjects in the senior years of high school, I dropped it in favour of history, which I loved.
I struggled to get my head around Zulu, so I didn't really enjoy that, either. |

Religious Education. Which in our school was Compulsory Fundamentalist Christian indoctrination. I eventually fought them over the unconstitutionality of it and won a free period. I was the only kid in school exempted from RE |

Same. Hated maths, failed it. Spent 20 years in a bank
PE was my worst though. Hated it. Especially cross country |

English?
I wasn't keen on languages as a teen, but now I love them. Wasn't keen on history, now it's fascinating. We are ever evolving beings |

Maths. The teacher was dry, humourless, spiteful and uninclined to help if you had difficulty understanding something.
For some reason I'll never understand we played an April fools trick on her once where we all sat facing away from the board. She just ignored us for the entire lesson then set homework that she knew would take three or four hours and said it had to be in next day. We were 13. Most parents said it was our own fault but a couple must have complained because she apologised a few days later. Too late for most of us though we disliked her from then on. |

Hated history and geography. I dropped both as soon as we took our options. I went all science based and loved it. Those were the days when you did physics chemistry and biology as 3 separate options so I took all 3 at gcse and A level. |

A lot of the subjects I didn't like depended on the teacher. I didn't like Maths or Science because I never felt like I had a teacher that really did their best to explain things or probably moved through their lessons too quickly. |

Geography was boring as it never seemed to be about actual Geography; I remember what seemed like a lifetime being spent on ‘number of doctors per capita in India’……
PE partially sucked as I hated football and gymnastics, which were always the core things. Basketball and badminton were fine though. Tennis was shit.
Didn’t like French purely because I used to hate talking in front of people.
Loved Physics and Chemistry, but then I’m a science geek. Biology was tolerable.
Maths was OK but my teacher thought I was better than I actually was. I’m not sure if my general grades made him think I found it all easy, but I didn’t….some things were tougher than others. |

I can't say there was any I hated but obviously liked some more than others. PE not a favourite, unless it was some sort of athletics or swimming. Favourite, unlike many on here, was maths and chemistry. I also liked music but found the curriculum restrictive and a bit boring as was exposed to much more than they taught us. Most teachers were great except one that seemed to enjoy writing too much on the board rather than engaging with us more interactively. All in all a good experience for me though I appreciate everyone is different. |

I liked pretty much all the subjects, it was either the class or the teacher I didn't like, but...
Rugby in the winter was not fun.
Chemistry baffled me.
IT was pointless as I spent my time looking at anything else on the computer.

English lit and Eglish Language.
Don't get me wrong, loved reading etc, just hated the teacher.
Who the he'll did she think she was to teach us our own language when she wasn't even English and we could'nt understand her !!!!
Square peg, round hole for her.
As a result, she used to hate us back.
Oh, the days of GCE's and CSE's |

There's none I really hated, some I found pointless like home economics (I already knew how to cook) or music do not own a single musical bone in my body. But I guess they all have their place in opening my mind to other things |

French, which is ironic as I’m seriously considering buying a place there in a few years for retirement time.
School was generally quite shit, seemed to push you to do stuff you didn’t want to and pull you back from what you did. I wasn’t allowed to do O Level physics for some stupid reason I can’t remember, so did the level below- got 98% without any revision and walked out of the exam room after about 40 minutes of the 2 hours as it was that easy
The things I’d do differently if I could go back…. |

Hated French, still do.
Loved Maths and Chemistry.
Took Art as an option subject, but my Art teacher drained all the fun out of it and I ended up hating it in the end.
Wish I'd taken Music instead - particularly given that it has been a massive part of my life ever since |

Not being pedantic, but it's Maths, not math.... That's yet another example of Americanism |

"Art. It's not that I didn't like it, I didn't mind it, but I'm rubbish at it and so it felt kinda annoying and to me, pointless. I know it's not pointless in general, before someone tells me off." That is also good . |
