Straight guys get a lot of stick on social media for being unable to style their homes. Stuff like brown is not an accent colour, who hurt you.
Guys, do you have stylish homes, or is it just functional?

"I have 'neutral' colours. Light walls, light grey carpets. Beech wood fire surrounds, tv table, coffee table, book shelves. Minimal 'clutter' so to speak. Less is more."
I'm not talking about minimalism, more lack of style.
(I don't like minimalism for myself - I err much more the other way - but it's definitely a style) |

I rent so can't do much by way of decorating. I did put some art prints up but found it made my flat feel too 'busy' and harder to relax in. If I had a bigger place I'd put some art up though. I wouldn't have a particular 'style' though I don't think. |

I’m not sure if it’s stylish I did paint my living room ceiling the same dark grey/blue colour as the walls which seems to be popular at the minute. I prefer older style been reinstating the original 1930s features in my house (picture rail, dado rail coving ect) as previous owner ripped all out as do each room |

I rent and try to keep it nice and tidy as i work from home too.
I prefer black and blue colour wise, have few plants, vases, lego, etc., but not too much.
Moving to another soon and hopefully will decor a little bit more with vibrant colours, lights and effects! |

I like painted walls. Colours inspire different moods for me. I know what I like, have a few different tastes. Do I have to vocab to describe it properly do I bollocks. Usually it is a woman who picks my brain and then shows me pics - like it's waffle House and I point and go yeah me like
I like natural materials, wood, leather, linen, cotton, silk. It tends to be simple rather than purely functional. Few cave paintings and things on the walls.
I like colour I think my bedroom is sage. Woodland colours relax me, green, blue. I also like white but pastel colours I can't stand - I don't a hint and to sit there working out if it's white or not thanks. I like terracotta too reminds me of Spain. Love wooden floorboards and rustic stone tiles. Candles.
Yellows and oranges give the sunshines.
Deeper reds/purples turn me on and bring out the deviance. My partner picked up on this and painted every bedroom in 'Vampire blood' or something. She did the living room in the last house the same colour too.  |

Over the years I've been complemented about my houses by either people who have visited my house or tenants who rent about my choices and soft furnishings to a point some have asked for my interior designer so yes not all men. |
