My glasses are less than 6 months old and I'm already having a reaction and yes, it's my skin and glasses that pong! |

Years ago I gad a septum piercing that just smelt rank. No one else could smell it but me. I had to remove it. Then I dated a guy with one and I could smell his. |

Microorganisms evolved, alongside our ancestors and different types colonised and specialised in living in different parts of our bodies. They can each be associated with different aromas, especially if certain materials are on us. Obviously we don't have copious volumes of fresh air around us most of the time, so aroma concentrations can build. |

I almost didn't say this for fear of offending you. But it there is a common cause of allergy for glasses wearers.
We have to clean all the bits that touch us (I'm not implying that you don't). Many people don't realise they need to clean the pads on their noses or the tips touching the side of their head. Cheap washing up liquid and water is the thing to use.
The build up of dirt, skin, grease and products makes a substance most people react to.
Used to work in an opticians so saw this a lot, especially with myopic senior people. |

I wouldn't have been offended as I know with my last frames the tips became sharp like my skin was acidic and made them pitted |
