I have nothing to do except relax for the rest of today, but there is nothing on tv i want to watch.

Does anyone have anything they could recommend? Im in the mood for something fairly light hearted, uplifting, maybe funny.

I have Nexflix and iPlayer. Thank you!

I've just finished watching Manifest on Netflix, pretty good and actually had a good ending.

The Good Place on Netflix covers all that, if you haven't seen it already

Beef on Netflix, it's not very uplifting but it is very funny.

It's like a deranged version of 'The War of the Roses'!

+1 to this, also Parks and Recreation and Brooklyn Nine-Nine by the same creator.

Some other shows that meet the criteria - Psych, Chuck, Castle.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I’m presently watching a brilliant Korean series on Netflix called, Sell Your Haunted House.

Despite the admittedly, absolutely shitty title, it is superb; equal parts creepy and funny.

I wholeheartedly recommend it

Detectorists. It's really easy, soft humour with heart.

What We Do In The Shadows is... daft. A lot of fun. Matt Berry really out does himself with the Berrying he carries on with. I love it.

Both are on Iplayer.

Oh they're so good aren't they? I've just started rewatching WWDitS, my aspirations in life are to be as feisty and exaggerated as Nadja and to have the female equivalent of Leslie's voice. Whilst not becoming an energy vampire.

The latest series of 'All creatures great and small' on My 5 would appear to fit your requirements.

Isn't surprising when you are telling someone about a TV series or programme that you thought was good and they start watching it but say they turned it off after a while as not liked it. Then in return they rave about a different one that you know you'd not be interested in.

Not fitting your requirements for today OP but guess that you found something good

But an incredible and gripping series to watch is Red Light, available free on channel 4. Amazing acting, multifaceted story, based in the red light districts of Amsterdam and Antwerp. Hard to stop watching it, it's compulsive.

Uplifting and funny, a brassiere telling jokes would fit the bill.
