Indifferent for the most part.
Despite not liking people I don't think I've ever been actually mean to anyone. Jokingly take the piss now and again as most do but with actual hostile intent, no. |

Kind? Sometimes.
Good vibes? For varying definitions of good, sometimes.
Complain? Sometimes, but I don't think often.
Moan? Another sometimes but I don't think often.
Act like an ass? Always.
Hate everyone? Nah. There are incredibly few people I care enough about to hate.
Act rude? Probably pretty constantly. |

I think I’m nice for the most part. I can take the piss a bit with the people I’m friendly with but I don’t think I’ve ever intentionally been horrible to anyone. |

Erm yeah, I think so.
I mean, I try to be nice and positive but in my sense of humour I suppose some people may take me differently.
I dunno.

For the sake of being nice? No, because people generally just don't deserve it. And it becomes disingenuous.

Why would anyone want to be anything else? Nasty and embittered is a very miserable existence, surely. If you can't be nice, don't go to work, don't go to shops, cafes restaurants, don't travel on the bus, train or plane, don't drive your car on the roads... In fact stay at home as most of us don't like people who are just not nice for no reason. Yes I do realise I just moaned about people who are not nice. Sorry, I am on a learning curve.  |

I just asked my daughter if I was nice. Pretty good feedback to be honest. She said.
You are incredibly tolerant of other people's bullshit. You are very nice to those who you care about and care about you. You don't go out of your way to be nice to people to get them to like you.
So I asked if she thought I should change anything.. she said:
No you have it about right. If you try to be nice to get people to like you then you end up getting taken advantage of or manipulated. It's better be to be yourself from the start.
I'm good with that and glad she has that world view. |

On here for me, it brings out the worst in me, I guess because of the interaction with people I wouldn't normally interact with in RL.
Generally don't/won't react to utter bellendery that some people spout about but I guess it is reciprocated. |

I wouldn't say I'm either nice or kind but I try to be respectful and mindful of other people. I am self aware and can read the room/sense a vibe and respond appropriately...
Tolerant for the most part and very much treat people how I wish to be treated but I don't put up with people's shit and I very much say it how it is, directly....none of this cohert shit that goes on.
Anyone has a problem with me then tell me, don't follow me round making digs or talk about how shit I am behind the scenes |

Women are never nice.. We are all lovely. It is in our make up to be colourful and bright like that stay on lipstick. We are here for the forseeable without us men would... Have no holes to fulfill.

I am always nice to everyone I meet or talk to and if I don't receive the same back I just ignore them everybody has got feelings and it's a lot more hard work to be nasty to someone rather than friendly xx |

Nice. No. Mainly because I find the word nice awfully boring. It's bland isn't it? Nice.
I don't deliberately try and be a twonk. I've never started an abusive thread. I've never done the whole "I hate everyone" shtick. Most of the time I'm fairly positive. I do try and interact with different people because I find people endlessly fascinating.
I'm human though. Flawed. I've been a bit short with people. Had the odd whinge when things are tough.

Oh that's lovely but honestly sometimes I can be really quite cutting with how I reply to posters. And I've typed some really bitchy things before because I've been hurt and wanted to hurt them back. I think as long as you're not a dick all of the time? You're fine. Most people on here are actually really lovely. Sure, might not be compatible with all of them but it doesn't mean I think they're twonks or harpies. |

I try not to offend or be mean to anyone and if I feel myself wanting to, I will put my phone down and walk away from it.
That has been a struggle a couple of times but mostly think I don't cause offence or hurt anyone.
The times I've maybe felt a response was rude or a bit much, I just assume it wasn't meant that way or the poster is having a bad day

On Fab and social media, I'm always nice, polite and friendly. I'm looking to meet people so I always try to be positive. I never get drawn into arguments, etc on forums.
In real life I'm also nice and friendly up until someones not so nice and I will stand my ground or say say or do whatever is required including getting annoyed. I don't let people try and make a fool out of me. |

I've been called all sorts of horrid things in the past because I can be outspoken on here and have opinions that sometimes differ from the majority...in my opinion I wasn't being unkind, but some people thought I was. |

I agree with this. Nice is absolutely meaningless. I went to a nice restaurant and had a nice lunch with a nice man . We ate some nice fish and had a nice glass of wine afterwards. Then we had a nice walk home because it was a nice day.
Threads like this prove nothing. It's usually someone with a point of view, taking a dislike to someone because they hold a different point of view and won't agree with them.
I've often said before it is 'as a rule' the accuser that is 'not nice' or having a problem, that is why they are questioning everybody else and trying to prove they are 'not nice' |
