 The weirdest thing is that it’s hollow - yet solid, as though there’s an invisible tube in the centre (!!!)
And it gets even stranger for when you reach the centre, it unfolds softly as though this invisible inner tube were never present

Necessary - a new winter coat, I didn't want one I like my old ones but I'm now too fat.
Pleasant surprise - a new book I've had on my to read list a while the Mr spotted the only copy in the shop while out earlier I'm super happy.

I went out this morning , spotted a market and bought 2 pairs of fleecy lined long bed socks.
3 pairs of thick trainer socks long all different colours
