That’s the spirit
Have you ever tried a Halogen heater? By Jove! They’re blooming amazing |

"Depends how cold it is... 18-20 normally.
I need to purchase an electric blanket for the sofa, won't need it on much then."
An electric blanket is a god send, leave it on for 10 mins before I head to bed and its nice and toasty |

Shoved it full up earlier but will take it off again in a bit. Not the best method maybe but I tend to do it that way quite a lot. I just think that if I don't notice the cold (ie when the heat goes away) I don't mind it so much! It can be a bugger sometimes when you suddenly do really feel it though I guess. pt |

18, when I put it on. I quite like it cool, and there's no point turning it higher as I live in a draughty old place and turning the heating above 18 makes no difference. |

I do put it on sometime. My boiler is in an outbuilding. I have the frost stat set to -5°, which overrides the thermostat inside and the heating kicks in regardless. Currently sat in tee shirt and shorts, with the heating off! |

I've had to defrost the car twice this week - Sunday and Monday mornings. That's pretty chilly! |

I have my heating set at around 21, for a few hours morning and evening, but if I get a chilly I light my wood burner stove, If I leave the doors open it more or less heats the whole bungalow. |

"Mines constantly set at 14.
That would beva bit too low for me personally but it would certainly keep the bitter cold at bay"
Nah thermostat is set at 14 but my woodburner has my place at about 24. |

Not switched ours on yet - socks & jumpers have made an appearance for me & everyone else has their fake oodies on. Our lounge was reading 14 today & that’s with the kitchen door open to the garden
