It's Europe's Final Countdown for me.
Still cranking up the volume.
It's on all of my playlists.
Don't care, if people saying it's boring.
Yes, they had other hits too, but radios played mostly Final Countdown and Carrie.

"Bon jovi - dead or alive.
Def leppard - Pour some sugar on me
Van Halen - jump
Guns and Roses-sweet child o mine (obviously)
Love this era of music "
Best era for rock and metal in my opinion.
Even pop music was more digestible. |

Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Full volume.
Not strictly 70s but I’ll add Get Back and Back in the USSR by the Beatles and Street Fighting Man and Sympathy for the Devil by the Stones to my turn it up to 11 list. |

They are 60's and 70's, but Freebird is definitely up there. |

^Leppard"
It was kind of my idea here.
Someone might mention something I forgot about. Unfortunately nothing I don't have so far. |

"She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult... As soon as that guitar riff comes in it always brings back good memories
That's a good one! "
The whole Love album is brilliant.
Hollow Man being my personal fave. The hairs go up every time I hear that intro. |

"Surprisingly still nobody mentioned that band and that song.
Great musicians, great singer and a bore to death popular cheesy song.
"
I'll take a punt
Journey Don't stop believin'
Great track until some TV show got hold of it and played it to death.
But the album is still great |

I was going to mention it, but it falls more into power ballad territory, no?
What was the name of this Millenial show in the 10s that was like a wannabe “Fame” show? Can’t remember the name… they used the somg to death there and butchered it, which put me off it forever. |

The Toy Dolls (remember their version of Nellie the Elephant) did a version of the Final Countdown with kazoos.
I wouldn’t say the song was a factor in my divorce, but my ex loathed it! |

All of them... I will happily listen to the 80's Rock Classics at any time, or all of the time.

Couple of great tracks from left field
Every Mothers Nightmare - Long Haired Country Boys.. bit of a stormer this one.
Dirty Looks - Oh Ruby.. can't miss the DC influence.
Mass - Voices in The Night.. Christian Metal Band, so not everyone's cup of tea, but a great rock song nonetheless. |

Power ballads are still mostly rock music, but not all though. |

Burning Heart.
Love survivor!
Quite few good albums, but stupid radios played mainly Eye of the tiger."
Jimi Jamieson was a great vocalist and recorded some decent solo albums too |

He was the better singer for sure.
Quite wide range considering had a deep voice in general. Almost like the young David Coverdale. They were going to tour with both singers, but then he died.
I would have paid big bucks to see that. |

Exciter was the opening track on the album Stained Class which was released in 1978.... Brilliant album though, especially the track "Beyond the realms of death" |
