Dear veritable forumites, is it still too early in the season to start talking about such things?

Let's get mullered on the aromatised wine and throw a driftwood onto the fire.

I have a tendency to get a sugar rush, rather than mullered, and then fall into the fire. I should stop already.

Yeah, it’s far too early for that kinda malarkey.

December 24th is when you wanna begin.

Come come young fellow - you can still venture into a pub and enjoy a hot chocolate besides the fireplace. Same fing, innit?

I can’t have mulled wine (allergic to cinnamon) but I’ll have a nice hot chocolate please

The weather is certainly turning, log fires are called for.

Well seasoned wood burns much better than driftwood.

You wouldn't have to coerce me much. Breaking strain of a hot Mars bar comes to mind.

As things turn a bit autumnal and the evening temperatures drop I must confess I’ve lit the open fire now a couple of nights

Great fun watching the rain lash down outside as you throw a few logs on the fire

Too early for the mulled vino yet

By log fire - you obviously didn’t mean setting fire to your own shit!!! I wish you had been clearer as my house is currently beyond febreze!!!!!

Don't forget to kick the rustic leaves. It's not Autumn if you haven't kicked leaves and sipped hot chocolate from a paper cup.

Kicked leaves? Do you think me an amateur? I’m jumping in big leaf piles. And puddles.

Not if you slurp it through a posh paper straw.

Could happily sip on a nice bottle of rouge by the log burner, but it's too early for mulled wine for me.
