I have noticed recently that people verifies don't say that the person they have met "sucks like a Dyson".
What's wrong, can people no longer provide the high amount of suction that the popular appliance can provide?
Or has there been a change in the use of language to something a bit more complimentary?

The original slogan was "Nothing Sucks Like An Electrolux". Never having had one, I wouldn't be able to confirm its capabilities.
Anyone else remember the adverts with the "Oreck Challenge"? It involved the founder of the Oreck vacuum-cleaner company sitting on a chair, with a bowling-ball suspended over his head via the nozzle-attachment from one of his hoovers to demonstrate how great the suction on them was.
After owning two of them, I can confirm that he must have taken the Oreck Challenge right with a fresh-from-the-box hoover, as they lose their amazing suction in pretty short order.
