As a companion piece to the previous thread relating to singers with perhaps not conventionally good, average at best or else plainly piss poor vocal abilities but who nonetheless make great tracks….
Good folks, please list for me artists who despite boasting undeniably superb vocal skills, in your opinion, make really shitty music.

Amen!  A fantastic voice admittedly but let’s take her hit, All The Single Ladies as a prime example of her musical crimes:

I cannot stand Whitney Houston, especially singing iiiiiiiieeeiiiiieeeiiiiiwill always love yooooaayyyaaaaeeeyyyayyye will always love yooooooooooayyye etc. a vocal gymnast but canny go her. On the other hand … Dolly who wrote the song, singing it or the cover with goddaughter Miley Cyrus is bloody briliant  |
