.

A pumpkin spice latte with extra spice on top. And a slice of freshly baked red velvet cake. Actually, I'd really like a sloe and winterberries cheesecake. One slice.

What's on my mind? Let's see. I really need to get that task done today or my mask fantasy is slipping away. Where's good for a mini break in January? Why does Spencer Sutherland's take on I Lose Control scratch such an itch? Why can people not handle being told something isn’t working? Do I buy things or put money into savings? Is a burgundy satchel a bit twee? I really need to clear my emails. Will the new Exorcist film be a good or bad date idea?

That's not even half of it. Joy of being neurotypical.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

There is one thing on my mind.

A zillion other things keep flying around in it too... but just the one thing overriding the rest.

I'll have coffee, thanks.

Only if it's an American cinnamon roll the UK ones are dry and disgusting

Give me cinnabon anyday

Extra hot skinny flat white, double² shot of course, a fig and date cake with ³ paper napkins (this is very important).

The coffee has to be lovingly made and hand-crafted, just like the perfectly scribed and articulately worded first message that most well-heeled men would send to a woman.

....and I would like the WiFi password please. The 'modern era' café culture has a symbiosis between the internet and the coffee.

Much as I'd love the coffee, I'd have tea, the English Breakfast variety.

If you pair that with toasted Guernsey Gauche with Guernsey butter I'm in heaven

Rooibos tea for me please. A little slice of pistachio, courgette and lime cake too if it’s not all gone?

I’ve been thinking a lot about homelessness today (following a chat with a Big Issue seller). Winter is coming and I hear the beast from the east could be back in November. It must be horrific being outside in winter (and summer obvs).
