flag. We talk a lot about red flags on here, things that put us off of someone.

What are some of the green flags for you? In whatever capacity - friendship, sex, work or romantic relationships.

Someone who is willing to talk about absolutely anything. I find that if I'm talking to someone whether is about absolute bollocks it means they are engaged with me on some level. May not be sexual but it's a brilliant start. Everything starts with a conversation.

Both male and female plutonic friends. If someone can have fulfilling relationships and form bonds that isn’t with agenda for getting their privates slobbered on then i think that says a lot.

This goes for women and men.

The first time they really disagree with you.

That moment that proves they're not just vapid empty yes men saying what they think you want to hear. When they explain their point of view without violence or anger or actually trying to change your mind, just that exchange of interpretations and reasoning.

That's my biggest and most favourite green flag

Yes! It doesn't mean that you have to divulge your deepest, darkest thoughts/past from day dot, talk frequently but having that open level of conversation, wanting to learn each other? That's a good thing.

Emotional intelligence is important, along with self-awareness.

I find empathy and compassion very attractive, along with humility and an erotic mind.

Saying all that, a little bit of hubris now and then doesn't hurt.

Sagittarius A

I can break it down to a feeling.

The communication is open and explicit no ulterior motives, no reading you to see what you really mean. Ahhh bliss.

And then there's just that little moment of connection, when you are both lost for words and it doesn't matter. Although that's not always the best in a work environment. Important caveat.

When it's there it's there and then when it's not it's obvious by its absence. How the feelies are handled is when the green flags emerge. If it stays open and it's: ok I've been thinking/feeling and I need to ask you X. It's yay time. If it descends into games it's sads times.

A sharp sense of humour. Intelligence - both emotional & wit. Kindness. Empathy. A quiet confidence. Not completely giving in to my bullshit (probably. Mostly)

And the undefinable thing. That gets you in the belly and you know you’re going to have an absolute blast together, but that you are 100% safe.

You're such a scamp Granny. Viewing things from a variety of perspectives is underappreciated. Sometimes we (not you) can get lost in how we perceive things to be, listening to one source and we don't even consider alternative perspectives.

Yes! Why are people so rotten at accepting that you just want a platonic friendship? It's really crap. Friendship is great, it shouldn't be conditional based on you bumping uglies.

I like people who are able to have meaningful platonic friendships without getting the hump that holes to service them won't be on offer.

Yes. It's an even more vivid hue of green after being in a relationship where both were lacking. Is that a bad thing? I can't tell. I guess it's positive if you're more aware of what you do want rather than focusing on what you absolutely don't want.

Someone who is not massively arsed as to how they come across in their profile, doesn't take themselves and others too seriously, isn't after constant adoration and validation, can laugh at themselves, is light hearted and fun to be around.

Mmmm narrowed that down quite a bit. I'm fucked.
