If they brought back a TV show from the past with your favourite actors and all-new scripts what would it be?
I'm going to have to go with Rising Damp... |

Out of town . Jack Hargreaves . Not sure who would present. Yes biased I have been involved in a lot of areas of fishing for many years. But also country side which in my youth went to near me , local rivers , countryside on bicycle . Seeing wild life etc. I have been lucky , not sure if future generations will see . ? |

I wish they still did shows like that... (Hobbies etc). Used to like the old Crawshaw painting shows etc too. |

As brilliant as it was, I really don't want to see it "rebooted". Aunty tried with "Rock & Chips" but it was bloody awful.
I think a reboot of "Only When I Laugh" would work; especially in the current climate. |

As a kid i loved the original Robinson Crusoe and the music with it. Always loved the idea of been stranded on a island somewhere, i wouldn't want to be rescued. |

If you have Netflix there is a new version, The New Legends of Monkey, it's quite good. |

I think this sums it up.
My list would have been
Quantum Leap
Blackadder (for modern politics) (actually having a crossover with Edmund Blackadder as chief whip of the opposition in the Yes Minister universe would be something)
But recently history has taught us that you can't just reboot or modernise.

I would love so that happe but part if the charm of the original avengers for me was the way ppl would get s
machine gunned to death or something but there wouldn't be a drop of blood or mark on them. All part of that slightky camp, kitch aesthetic. Audiences wouldn't put up with it now, they demand their verisimilitude

Come Dancing, when I worked at Butlin’s they used to hold Ballroom dancing competition weekends. Immaculately dressed and made up women with handsome male partners. Wonderful to watch close up as they (literally) waltzed by.
So ended up being a fan of the TV series that they used to broadcast on BBC1 late at night.
When they stopped and cancelled it I was quite upset, even more when they dumbed it down with ‘celebrities’ I wish they would bring it back because those dancers should be appreciated for their dedication over years of practice and grace.
Nothing wrong with both being on the Telly either, Strictly and Come Dancing

They are doing an audiobooknwith lots of the original cast, based around spike after the events of the finale (and the angel finale too I guess).
SMG has stated she won't return to the character in any form though, unfortunately. Also no Xander.
If it were to be remade/rebooted/continued you would not see the Xander character show up as you remember him in this modern world.
He was a self insert of Joss Whedon. And a lot of people are calling him out (the character of Xander) as a very toxic part of the group and show as a proto-incel. |

I'd love to see OTT made again. All the main presenters are still alive and still working. Chris Tarrant, Lenny Henry, Bob Carolgees, Sally James.
The anarchy and sexual inuendo would really shake up British TV in this day and age. |
