Maybe COD Black Ops. Or Black Ops 2 zombies. I used to be fantastic, always top of the leaderboard. Also spent what feels like years on The Sims 2. And I am not ashamed to say I absolutely loved Fortnite. All the Tomb Raider games. I was absolutely besotted with GTA online and used to have so much fun, have some proper good memories with online friends and super late nights. I don't have the hours anymore to play and I miss it so much. I just can't get back into it like I used to. |

Diablo 2 and 3
Mass Effect 2 and 3
Final fantasy 7, 8, 9, and 10.
The Last of Us
Command and Conquer

The list goes on. |

Damn. Far too many to pick just one.
PSOne era probably my most formative. Final Fantasy, Tekken, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, Metal Gear Solid.
It began with the SEGA Master System (16 bit) and Mega Drive (32 bit), though. Sonic the fucking Hedgehog, bay-beeeee! |

The lobbies to black ops opened back up last month with over 100,000 players online, I felt 14 again and got to forget about the stress of adult life for a bit when life was all about gaming, definitely recommend finding the time for nostalgia

Would hate to pick one don’t think I could
Doom (the original pc version) is probably game I’ve returned to and played through again more than any
Wonderboy 3 the dragons trap - originally for the master system I remember playing it with my dad as a kid then the remake for modern consoles was brilliant
The remake of resident evil 1 - still the best resident evil
Red dead 1 and 2
GTA vice city
Probably others I’ve since forgotten |

Aye, i remember Sim Cities would struggle after a while. Cities Skylines does benefit from having a more powerful system as do other sims like Anno, especially if running at 4k.
I fell in love with Horizon Zero Dawn during covid when it finally came to PC on Steam, i can't wait for Forbidden West to come to PC in the next year or two. The who world was amazingly and lovingly crafted but was absolutely blown away by the story |

I have a few…
Transport Tycoon - Got the original in 1994 and have played variations of it since then. Never got bored of it.
Fallout 3 / New Vegas / 4 - All three of these games have absorbed hours of my life and are worth every second. I still play all three of them.
Elite Dangerous - Achieved Elite status in trade and exploration. Still not bored of it. Still enjoy playing it.
Red Dead Redemption 2 - Probably the best all-round game I’ve ever played. Visuals, storyline, music, gameplay are all top notch. I can play this over again and again. |

I've hundreds of hours in Fallout4. I'm not really a story guy but I loved F4. If it's multiplayer over racked up 1000+hrs in CoD world at war, another 800ish in MW and MW2, 5or600 in BF3, 700odd in BF4
But I've probably got well over 2000hrs in World or Warcraft |

Fifa- played hours in each one since I was a kid. First one I think I had was fifa 04 but didn’t play too much of it then. Started kicking in around fifa 06 where it was nearly every day
Red dead series- love the story line and with the new one just going round doing random stuff.
Skyrim- always loved playing it and keep doing new play throughs and finding new stuff
I’d have to say one of those 3 |

Ark has over 4500 hours sunk in to it by Fumble somehow! Hogwarts Legacy is wonderful, but then I'm a huge HP fan so getting to actually visit the universe (not the studio tour or theme park) in my own home is great! It does get repetitive and does need DLC, desperately.

There are a lot of forgotten favourites listed here. Gone are the days of Spy Hunter, Mr Do and Frogger, but they ride high in the memories of us old enough to remember pumping two shilling coins into the cabinets even if they have been far overshadowed as the tech improved.
I have over 8k hours on Ark:SE so it must be my favourite game, but I am a long term lover of the Civilization games and I have bought GTA: Vice City on several platforms. |

Than Bust-a-Move / Puzzle Bobble.
Soul Blade / Soul Calibur in its various incarnations.
And nowadays the Forza Horizon series.
.
Those have been the biggest of many time sinks."
Oh feck I have put probably over 500 hours into that speedball 2 |

Beautiful, sad, exciting and well….colossal!
" ahhh yes I remember this had it on the ps2 it was a beautiful and well crafted world and every fight was a different challenge to figure out I forget how many colossuses where actually in it |

Tetris. I've definitely put more time into that than any other game. I'm a fucking Jedi at it.
Super Mario World. Best 2d platforming game ever.
Fallout 4. Not everyones cup of tea but I loved it and put many hours into it.
Red Dead Redemption 2. That game was so good I haven't really enjoyed a game since.
Breath of the Wild. Epic game. Love it. |

I kind of fell in love with Negan so that helped in getting over Glen 2bh.
I'm still traumatised by the series 1883 though. I legit had to mourn over Elsa hahahaha |

I think it all depends on my mood, spent hours on fable on the original X box, the newer versions never felt as good, although I'm told there is a new one in the making.
Leisure suit Larry was always fun. |

Witcher 3 or Skyrim are probably my favourite of all time, pumped thousands of hours into them. But I've been playing World of Warcraft since 2004/2005. Couldnt possibly guess how much time I've spent on that haha! |

Agreed, although I didn’t mind the first part of PP, it was once it was the same missions but more difficult I found it just ran out of legs become too repetitive |

Ghost of Tsushima for me. The game is just so visually stunning and with a great story. If you haven’t played it then do.
My only advisory is that the ending will hit you hard. |

I really enjoyed it and played it as "propely" as I could which was interesting
I need to play it again aswell so I can explore the different outcomes |
