Somewhere In The Ether…

A spoon should be able to stand up in it; I want to at least be able to chew through it like a steak

Being from down south, I always loved chips and gravy and marrowfat peas, but now on the Isle of man it's chips cheese and gravy everytime. Yum.

Thick enough to cling perfectly to a roast potato and not spoil the delicious crunch.

Am I in a minority? I like my gravy thin (and never on chips, salt and vinegar are the only things that should ever be put on chips).

"Somewhere in the middle but never trust me to mix up gravy as there will be enough to feed the homeless "

You could always use what's left and drink after your meal or freeze it

If I don’t have to tap the bottom of the gravy boat like a bottle of ketchup it’s not thick enough.

I’ll admit I committed a crime against Gravy so egregious that I know I’ll upset the Northern folk.

I made it so thick the spoon stood up in it, quite firm as well.

Then I'd suggest use a spoon to measure and all your problems are solved. I cheat use a jug gravy water season it place in the microwave as it cooks in out then if need more water just add stir and place back in

Only when on the rum or just after she has been fed, briefly.
