"That’s a lovely story
The Sun’s headline will surely be: ‘Woman Over The Womb.’"
It's a “medical milestone” that will help people who previously had no hope of carrying their own baby, experts have said.
Medics around the country welcomed the news that a woman has successfully received a womb donated by her older sister.
Hope is a marvelous thing. |

I won't inflict suffering on anyone by donating mine! I hope they've considered how uterine related conditions like adeno and endo might be transferred with the uterus. I'm sure they have. I watch these stories with interest to see how they unfold. Norway and Sweden did some quite a while back
The first baby known to be born from a transplanted uterus was born in Sweden in 2014.

Reports suggest all is well. Can take comfort in knowing the patient will be in very good hands and monitored to ensure no complications occur.
Wish the family well.
Amazing, they must be soooo happy (it's beautiful).

Medical marvel
The lady in question must be absolutely thrilled
Not putting a bummer on this
But I read about this several years ago
Thing being is now it’s happened here in the uk (Switzerland trialed this few years ago!) it kinda opens up a can of worms (moral!) would it be morally acceptable for a trans woman to have the same procedure?
Which is what I was reading about few years ago!
The original doctors who carried out this research said it was feasibly possible should the trans body not reject the donated womb
And how far would this be able to go ?
1st pregnant transgender woman ?
I really don’t know where I stand on this medical marvel at this moment in time |

I hear u sis.
Never an easy decision...!
Also, I don't know enough about subject matter to comment.
I'm simply content being a guy who enjoys role play by occasionally throwing on some makeup, lady clothes and stripper shoes.

"Received. But has the body rejected it yet?
There is no telling just how successful it is until at least a little while after "
She's taking super strong drugs to prevent rejection until she has a baby, after which the womb will be removed |

Apparently they will usually allow two pregnancies before removing the uterus (if the person wants two). |
