What song(s) do you rate highly but you think most on here would probably need to Google (then hopefully agree).

For me it's probably:

La Tristesse Durera by the Manics.

Play it Cool: The Super Furry Animals.

Disclaimer: No I'm not Welsh.

Very good. I should have thrown 'Streets of Kenny' by Shack in there to balance up a bit. Lol.

Comedy, and Undecided (both by Shack) are minor classics. Mick Head is sorely underappreciated as a songwriter

La Tristesse Durera and Olympian are excellent choices.

Somewhere In The Ether…

For a criminally forgotten, 1980’s Italian synth classic: Aleph - Fire On The Moon

Just listened to the Fire on the Moon from the thread below and that was indeed a foe tapper. Thought it was the Pet Shop Boys at first.

Great choice!

I'd add Hedonism by Skunk Anansie, Strictly Business by EPMD and Fisherman's Blues by The Waterboys.

Ah, never mind. One day someone will go 'I love those too' and then we can rub our bits together and walk off into the sunset hand in hand.

Yes, I know and like that song.

I probably went a little obscure with my other choices so my less well known song by a well known band is:

At My Most Beautiful by R.E.M
