Visiting Blackpool |
Ink!
We stayed in a very nice private caravan that had a small ink stain on the sofa.
"Oh let's rub this stain away so the owner doesn't think we've done it"
"SHIT! Now we've got a big bloody blue stain that's even more noticeable" |

Blood can be removed by apply a mixture of salt and water in a paste texture, rub it in, leave for around half an hour, rinse then launder. Bicarbonate of soda will work the same. I have a friend who uses ammonia. |

"Oh, and ink comes out with the alcohol hand sanitizer."
I’ve heard that citrus juice is efficacious on many common stains but have never tried it myself.
Stains such as gloss paint can be removed with white spirit but this technique is not recommended on coloured clothes as the spirit will bleach it |

"Turmeric. Source: I grew up in an Indian household "
I have many turmeric stained wooden spoons.
I used to live in India, no one there used to walk round with turmeric coloured fingers, I don’t know how I mange to stain everything with it. |

Agreed.
Source: my brother spilled a curry on my mum's three day old cream carpet "
I feel bad for your Mum thinking there was hope of getting it out |

Oh it's easily done. I still never wear white clothing because growing up, it always seemed to stain just walking into the kitchen |

The carpet fitter came back, cut the stained part out and replaced it.
Nobody ever told my mum that my brother had d*unk too much... |

"Hair dye
This!
I think I’ve ruined just about every towel we have.
That's easy, keep one towel just for dyeing hair and stop using every towel in the house "
That would be the smart thing to do wouldn’t it |

That's not your real hair colour?
I’m sorry you had to find it out this way "
It's fine, I'm sure you'd look sexy if it was bright green |
