.. what are they Fabsters?

From the moon landings, to a young Les Ferdinand helping to vandalise the Blue Peter garden.

Or maybe it’s Danny Kendall being found dead in Grange Hill, or that time that kiddie rang up Saturday Superstore to ask Five Star why they were “so fucking crap”?

What makes YOUR list?

Not sure its iconic, but Tommy Cooper dying on stage, on a live broadcast is fucking surreal!

I remember watching the start of his act, being called to go and get my tea and coming back utterly confused as to why he wasn't still on 3 minutes later

Yep, first time I remember being properly shocked by television. Live from Her Majesty’s I think the programme was, quickly closed the curtains and went to a commercial break.

At first people thought it was part of the act and were laughing (such was his talent, anything he hid was funny!) then later that evening on the news (I think!) they confirmed he had died.

The curtains just added to the strange hilarity as he was sat, slumped in front of them and these hands just appeared from behind them and slowly dragged him through in silence, apart from a few confused laughs...then i think it cut to a commercial break at that point?

I'm sure he'd have enjoyed the whole spectacle immensely if he could have watched it somehow

Sunniest Exeter...

You may notice a theme and as there are some iconic moments I am going to pick some smaller ones in the scale of things

Babylon 5 - the episode Severed Dreams (if you know, you know...) but it was 2.5 years of story arc leading to an epic story turning point.

Battlestar Galactica - the battle of New Caprice and "the Adama manoeuvre" "99000 and falling like a rock..."
