£5 a month I think is dirt cheap for this. It's worth it for the entertainment value alone. Some of the people I receive messages from are comedy gold and really make me laugh away to myself.

If they are good it’s really hard to , although most are very comfortable with tax evasion ( VAT & income tax) for cash, so you should ask to at least share the money they are stealing from the nhs.

I, for my sins, smoke cigars. The ones I like aren't huge ones, pretty much the same size as Hamlets. Only place I can get them locally, to the best of my knowledge, is Morrisons. £17.75 for 5.

A friend of mine regularly travels to Gibraltar for his business, and as payment for my having his dogs whilst he's away, brings me some back. In Gib...£11.50.....for 5 packs of 5!

So that's £23 for 50, instead of £177.50 in Morrisons.

He can leave his dogs with me as often as he likes

Pints at the pub. When did a pint up north jump from £3 to £5 without touching any numbers in the middle? Was it during covid?

I went on a date to a fairly local pub last week, one that I go to every couple of weeks. A pint of Staropramen had gone up 50p since my last visit (£5.50 for a bloody mucky beer!!) and her wine was £8.20 a glass.

It is ridiculous tbf. Prices of holidsys and/or flights have more than tripled and goods and services gone down to. How some of these hotels can jistify those increases is beyond me. Even if I could, would not pay some of the prices they are asking. Some hotels here ate also not much better for what the charge for a night. You used to spend that for a proper holiday only 3 or for years back. World has gone mad

"Energy in general. My biggest expense by far is electricity and petrol absolute joke "

Definitely energy. Overpriced to me means it's worth less than what I'm paying for it.

I buy expensive things but they are worth it. Like I have a Brompton but it worth its price in and probably weight in gold. It's given me so much freedom and I don't have to worry about getting injured and having to lock it up somewhere. If my legs decide not to work, I can just fold it up and put it in and Uber or on the bus/train. It also reduces my anxiety cycling to and from work.

I don't know the last overpriced thing I bought was a Fitbit Versa pre-pandemic. It was an expensive piece of tech that I have not been able to use regularly in the last 5 years. It spends more time not working than working.

Technically it wasn’t overpriced

But a tv dropped close to hafe price in 6 months off me owning it

But it’s not all bad Samsung have been re packaging the thing for close to 4 years

Ever time I think off Geting the new model I look at the specs are they the exact same just in a new outer frame

So not all to bad as the priceing off the newer models are in line with what mines cost

If I would have waited 6 months instead off getting it launch day I would have saved my self at least 2k
