If I'm in the wrong I will always admit it and it it had caused problems I will try to right them again. But sometimes you do have to realise things can't be or shouldn't be righted again |

Of course, thay's what decent people do. Nobody is right every time. If you are wrong, then apologise and learn from it. Most people appreciate that. I apply this not only with family and friends but work too and most people love that open and honest approach |

"Do you try to do this when you mess up, in any situation, hold your hands up, apologise and make right what you messed up..."
It depends on the situation, the circumstances around how or why I messed up, what the implications are, how I’m feeling and how much I value future interactions with the other party.

Try to.
Takes two though doesn't it.
Can't make amends to thin air. |

That's a interesting point, I didn't consider not valuing future interactions, as a reason not to make amends |

It depends. Yeah, if I'm in the wrong, I'll generally admit it. Try and sort things out if they're open to it and make sure I don't repeat that behaviour rather than just talk about it.
I'm rarely in the wrong though. |

Absolutely my steps, 8,9 and ten help me with this process and helps me to challenge my behaviour and deal with thr feelings of shame and guilt of behaving like a twat |

Always apologise if I'm wrong and I'm not perfect...
If only more realised they aren't always right and aren't always the voice for everyone..
And stopping the downright nasty comments would help too |
