I think they are good at the movies and the sports and their impact on pop culture.
I think they are extremely bad at the racism obviously. That’s been like a big problem of theirs. |

"I LOVE the burritos I got in the States
But WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT CADBURYS DAIRY MILK!?! It tasted like sick!! "
It’s because of their food standards and something to do with their milk or something. Means their chocolate tastes different. Saw a TikTok about it so not sure |

Florida Keys, again, just stunning |

I love America. Love cowboy boots, Rodeo tailors, old skool motels, trashy neighbourhood bars, everyone you meet on the street talks to you, awesome food, incredible geography and a it's a deliciously seasoned melting pot full of people from every corner of the globe. Sadly most people hear America and think of Trumpites, republicans, the NRA, the tea party, the right wing Christian movement and all that white bread closed minded bullshit the media pumps out. This is the cancer that needs to be cut out in order to make America American again.
One nation under a groove......

I've more friends and family there than I care to think. So it might have affect the lives of people that I care about. So if you think I shouldn't care about something because it doesn't affect me you're a damn fool.
You don't think I should care about the removing of books from libraries. Think again.
You don't think I should care about voter suppression? I vote from overseas and no one is trying to suppress my vote yet.
You don't think I should care about the idiocy and wilful proud stupidity that's a cancer in the country of my birth. Then you know what I think by now. Happy fourth. |

Ah right, maybe that’s it. American chocolate is woeful tbf with the exception of Reece’s peanut butter cups which are elite! |

They are the a great country if you limit the list to those in a mid-section of the North American continent.
They are behind most of the world with anything to do with equality like a fair working wage, equitable healthcare, balance unbiased education, actual proportional and inclusive elections... the list can go on.
Also.. ever noticed how they say "The 4th of July" making the date DD/MM not their usual MM/DD |

The right to keep and bear arms brought in by the original constitution (subjects who rose up and defeated a power that no longer represented them or allowed them a voice) and supported by the NRA is what makes and keeps America great. You can't rise up and defeat an oppressive and tyrannical government with cutlery, gardening tools or sharp pointed sticks and witty comments. |

You could write a very strongly worded letter, BY HAND. Like any civilised nation. Fight with the pen, not the sword! |

Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the 4th of July and you will once again be fighting for our freedom not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution but from annihilation.
We’re fighting for our right to live, to exist, and should we win today the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday but as the day when the world declared in one voice,
“We will not go quietly into the night. We will not vanish without a fight. We’re going to live on. We’re going to survive. Today we celebrate our Independence Day!”
Americans made that film... I like that film. |

So many angry people grrrrr
I've known many Americans through my life, some of them are twatish thick as shit wank bags, some of them are the opposite. Some somewhere between.
Come to think of it, plenty of people I know from other countries like that too. My own included. |
