I'd like to rant about my car being in bits and not fixed yesterday, as planned. Meaning I'm relying on taxis and public transport and getting to work this morning, whilst achieved, was so stressful because there was no-one in the station office. The guard put me on but then didn't come to get me off and I relied on some tourists. The prospect of getting home is stressful too. And I have no car tomorrow either so our daughter will miss out on activities because I can't do it by public transport |

I am too emotionally drained at the moment to deal with drama and games.

My shit really, I'm just not in a good place to be peopling, right now.
It's like I have some pretty hard stuff going on for people I care deeply about and I feel mithered by a bunch of things from others that really aren't a big deal and it's like: really that's what your issue is? It's unfair of me I know, but that's how I feel. Lot of people taking without giving back. Bringing me problems not solutions. Making things hard work when they don't need to be. |

I wish I could sort my sleep pattern out. Some days I'm up at 5am, some days 8am and sometimes 10am on the weekends and yet I always seem to go to bed at the same late time. It's damn exhausting! |

I’m at a weird place in my life where I want to find someone and settle down but I either can’t find someone who would compliment my lifestyle instead of working against it or if I do find that rare person I can’t get close to them because of the past making me turn all shy and seeming like I’m showing no interest.

I was watching some Glastonbury stuff on the BBC and came across somebody called Stefflon Don. I've never heard of her and I don't like the music at all, but holy shit is she hot!

I love summer and late summer and autumn, but I can never shake a slight feeling of sadness at noticing the days getting shorter. Long evenings give you such a feeling of revelling in the freedom of time.
Oh, and an unconnected and equally irrelevant admission, I adore flowering private hedges. The scent reminds me of summer holidays as a kid. |

Went out on a Sunday afternoon to measure up a job for a lass I’ve known since we were youngins, was only a small patio area 4 1/2 square metres in total, I despise small jobs as can’t make anything off them, quoted her £290 and that was for Indian stone and me heavily discounting my day rate, replies “that’s so much for such a small area” so this stinking cunt wants two men to show up, dig out the area, run the excavation away, stone it up, compact it, lay flags on concrete mixed and point up all the joints with mortar or significantly less than £290 for all materials and Labour? I went to a nudist beach for the first time at the weekend.
As a 55 year old with self confidence issues, it was the most liberating experience you can imagine.
Only problem is, I’ve got no one I can talk to about it.
