In the long running radio program, a guest is invited to name the 8 tracks they would like to have available if they were shipwrecked on a desert island. They also get to choose a book.

What book would you choose?

I think I would choose Terry Pratchett's The Shepherd's Crown. It was the last book he wrote and published. Funny and poignant in good measure.

I’m a practical sort of chap; something by Bear Grylls or Ray Mears.

Or possibly, ‘Raft Building For Beginners’ if such a publication exists
