Heaven to have that focus of someone, that chance to spend time with someone without any distractions. Giving someone that attention. Quality time is really important to me.
Hell if there's no aftercare/communication there or they go and meet someone the next day. It clearly didn't mean that much to them and it would be like crashing into a circle of hell. :D |

We were in the bedroom, coffee runs and snacks from the kitchen then straight back to the room to chill. I'd say 24 hours not 48 It is good when you're normally both busy with life and get to have a break for once. |

Honestly? Hell. But I would begin to lose patience being cooped up in one room with my best friend, let alone a relative stranger. Sex is a fabulous distraction and I recall a time with an ex (with whom I was besotted) when we spent the entire day in bed together. Fucking, eating, drinking, chatting, laughing. We didn’t get up except for ablutions and refreshments and had no tv or phones.
But even then I had to go out for the evening for a break |

Did it - was unplanned but we just got so into each other we spent almost a full 24 hrs just being in the moment. We’re still in touch … as proper invested friends and i guess one day we will recreate that |

I can get 24 with someone and go out too. Like last weekend. Utter bliss.
And a weekend or two before that, again utter bliss.
Making it 48 in the fab world is not easy though, people have lives. And they might get bored of me in that time!

Heaven! It's not even about the sex but the closeness and intimacy if having someone with you for 48 hours where you can just chat, sit and watch TV together, make stupid jokes with each other. It's something I wish I had right now and one of the reasons I really don't want to give up on vanilla dating |

I don’t have the attention span to spend 48 hours having sex, really. I do like it but I also like getting out and about, having a coffee, a meal, walking together, laughing together…
It’s been probably decades since I had a shagfest like the one described, so wouldn’t be averse to trying it… provided I can get out any time I like if I feel stifled.
Probably that is why I don’t find a full time local FWB haha  |

This for me too. I’d rather spend a few hours together, go out exploring and have some fun that way and then go home to my own bed, alone.
Spending that much time with someone based around sex is not for me anymore. It’s too intimate also. It’s the sort of thing you do in a romantic relationship (in my mind) otherwise boundaries can get blurred. |

In my head I can imagine all sorts, in reality when she comes over, there is kissing, cuddling, nattering, sex, food, sleep, showers, walking the dog, all sorts. In the 48 hours sex will not be the dominant all consuming activity that I may have imagined when planning the weekend. But one can dream. |

This makes me spit my 3hr old tea out, as I can still remember the 'amount of time people preferred sex to last for' on here.
It was 15-20 mins and at the long end of 20mins, people said they would be getting bored. This was including foreplay and were honest replies like the above. ( )

Yes, this was most of our weekends prior to becoming parents. God we miss those days. Now its always after 9pm when daughters away with fairys and no risk of her bounding in. And she's always up and tearing around by 7am. No peace for the wicked lol.

Sounds like our first ever swinging experience, but we were only with them for about 11 or 12 hours. We booked a hotel near them, met them in town for drinks, hit it off straight away so headed back to the room. Played a silly sexy board game to break the ice, then introduced Jayne to her first bi experience. Several hours of swapping and playing later got hungry so got dressed and headed out to the local 24 hour services for food, then headed back. Planned to grab some sleep, but got carried away playing again. Eventually grabbed some sleep in a pile on the bed, then woke, had breakfast, packed up and left. |
