You know when someone does something and you think that. You actually stand there bewildered, confused and gobsmacked. And you think what the hell is wrong with people?!?!?

They're not real people, it's really just some glitches in the programing of the simulated humans that are being used in the alien experiment that you don't know you're in after you were taken at birth. They were going to reprogram them, but then they realised they enjoyed seeing your reaction to them and decided to leave them as they are. I'm only telling you this because I'm part of the anti human experiment movement, AHEM. The pubs had some pandemic related closures years ago. This caused a fault in a section of some people's brains.
Like any illness, sometimes these things take time to manifest.

They're taking part in a cult initiation rite - only when they've done something truly, truly gobsmacking will they be accepted. Every failed attempt results in flagellation so they've really got to push the boat out in terms of outlandish behaviour. |

I do have a serious reply, but (a) nobody wants to hear "told you so" and (b) it would violate this thread's terms of keeping it light. So instead I'll say that the real people are being abducted by aliens, what you're seeing is the pod people taking over... |

I know it shouldn't be a surprise to me, but everytime with Nadine Dorries I think "what is wrong with her?"
On the Philip Schofield issue she said on Talk TV "we have in society men who use their position of authority and power and trust...to behave in a way whic is inappropriate and unacceptable" and yet does not see the hypocrisy of her position re BoJo.
Next, a few hours after she told TalkTV that "the last thing I would want to do would be to cause a by-election in my constituency", she announced that she had informed the chief whip that she was resigning with immediate effect.
And now, we find that she has still not resigned and may not do so until Parliament takes its summer recess (21 July)

The recent news stories about AI taking over and destroying humanity alerted us to this. Already AI bots have created humanoids who walk among us, learning our behaviours, only every so often one learns from a fuckwit and the hive mind takes on said fuckwittery meaning that it replicates in droids all over the world. And when someone does something entirely stupid that's why you need to kill them - because there's a chance they are an AI controlled spy |
