All over

I dread reading back some of my posts. So many mistakes due to quickly posting and not realising that auto correct has crept in. On the other hand people say it's best to have it on as makes typing quicker. I wish I was better at it. I am ashamed of all the mistakes and apologies for that. I will endeavour to do better

Thanks, I did not want anyone thinking all those years of schooling and learning were wasted on me. It's particularly bad when it happens on a thread title that you can't delete and remains their in perpetuity for everyone to 'judge'

I love reading back my posts from the past when someone resurrects old threads.

My spelling mistakes make me laugh, and also I can read what type of mood I was in.

Fuck it OP. Keep them. No one writes perfectly on here all the time. I've noticed a few of your threads where you've deleted the OP and posted underneath it. As long as people can understand you that's all that matters isn't it?

Totally with you on this, OP. Not least because I am someone who is particularly finicky with spooling, grandma and punkertation. Sometimes I’ll review a post I’ve rushed because I’m chuckling to myself about how funny it is and want to get it out there, only to see I’ve messed up some words.

I do find it most funny when someone posts to rip apart the OP’s spelling but have mistakes in their own post!

But Fab does have a ‘preview message’ button - maybe we should all get a bit better at using that and taking 30 seconds to check our own writing

I have it permanently switched off.

I hated predictive text and auto carrot falls into the same category for me.

I just find it annoying. When predicitve text first came along, I used to find it would take me longer to compose a message than if my phone just let me type my f***ing message without offering suggestions.
