Sometimes we get a bit caught in life. In the stresses of day to day things, the Big Things.
I thought I'd focus on the positives. So... what's made you smile recently? It can be small, big. Life changing or a little smile that brightens your day. What's brought you joy? |

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
Moments ago, my dog came up, headbutted my ankle and then licked it, and wandered off.
That made me smile.
Then I turned around in time to catch him licking his brothers ear. And that made me smile. |

My cat plays hide and seek. She brings me endless joy, as do any animals really. Today she hid in my clothes airer under my bedding as it dried. Really made me smile. |

Seeing a man with dozens of pots of coleslaw arranged neatly in the bottom of his supermarket trolley.
I had the double pleasure of admiring the aesthetics of the arrangement: marvelling at the time and care he took over it, while simultaneously wonder what he wanted them for. |

Today I'm wearing a dress I bought at christmas and forgot about and it still fits me and I've been out for a coffee with my support worker for a coffee to a lovely little cafe and knew a few people in there and was greeted warmly |

It’s not often one gets complemented on the quality of a handjob. Usually a grunt is the most you get |

Dogs are adorable aren't they? I try really hard to not be such a dog person but if I see one, esp a weimaraner, the likelihood is I'm asking the owner if they don't mind me stroking it. :D

My cat is a bundle of mischief, hides then jumps out on me,brings me hours of enjoyment, and seems to know if I'm having a bad day |

Mine's dog related too. We had a lovely walk in the park at lunchtime. He just rolls in the grass with sheer joy of being there (and sometimes fox poo, but we'll skirt over that) that you can't help but make me smile.
Be more dog is the message, I think (minus the fox poo).

The fact that my 3pm video-conference call/meeting was cancelled brought me a little smile and an excuse to go for a stroll, grabbing a flat white along the way. Tis the little things indeed.
And no signs of either fox poo or dog poo on my meandering footpath. Surely that's a bonus!? |

I'm lucky. There's actually quite a lot of things.
Being in the sea and climbing trees yesterday with a friend.
My dog. She is daft, beautiful and so sweet. I actually get quite emotional over how much she seems to love me unconditionally.
The group chat my sons are having with each other.
The fact it's sunny.
Something someone said yesterday is still making me smile today.
The gorgeous smoothy I had for lunch.

Kitchen dancing with the mrs always puts a smile on my face.
And I can choose to grab that arse whenever I like, I mean I do quite a lot but just look at it why wouldn’t you. Sexual little peach it is.

My big fuzzy dog slid on his bone across the wooden floor, he tossed his head back and brought it forward again and it reminded me of Beyoncé’s dance routine in “Single Ladies” and I had a little chuckle to myself.
It’s the little things in life that keep me going!

The Swallows have come back to nest in the eves of the old building next to my back yard…
Somehow this fact gives me a contented feeling far beyond it’s actual importance in my day to day life!
But hey I’m happy. |

Warm nights and blue skies
Watching my dog squeaking with joy playing with a football
Finding a forgotten bar of dairy milk in the cupboard
Waking up early and realising you can have another couple of hours sleep |

My little old pooch
The last 2 years has been pretty crappy with the loss of both parents and my own health issues
However, in that whole time, not a day has passed where he hasn't made me smile if not laugh out loud
He really is a tonic
I honestly believe that whatever you put into a dog you get back tenfold |

"Catching sight of a bruise.
Deliberate winding up from my favourite assholes.
Realising I have an extra biscoff kitkat stashed "
I did not know biscoff KitKats were an actual thing! Gosh. Going to try and find them now.
Winding up your favourite people is so much fun. |

Oh D! I can actually picture this. And your goofy smile because you're happy. This is really sweet - there's something lovely about helping someone. |
