I've never really understood what the point of them is? Why do you put a smaller sink in your actual sink? Not you, just anyone. Genuinely curious as I know there's obviously a reason! |

No haha, I think I totally misunderstood! I thought we were talking about those plastic basins that people put in sinks and I thought 'oh here's my chance to actually learn the reason for that'  ! |

That’s a fine point! Now I come to think of it, why do they actually exist?
There’s a plug in the bottom of the sink after all. Why do we really need to reinforce the washing up?   |
