Just stumbled over 'Lifeforce' AKA space vampires, a 1985 film the principal feature of which is that the female lead spends the whole film walking round naked.

As an aside features Patrick Stewart in a minor role before he was famous.

Watched a bunch over the weekend. Super Mario Bros (OK for turning your brain off for 80mins), Evil Dead Rise (Passable horror masquerading as an Evil Dead movie), Dungeons & Dragons (didn't expect much, wasn't disappointed).

"Just stumbled over 'Lifeforce' AKA space vampires, a 1985 film the principal feature of which is that the female lead spends the whole film walking round naked.

As an aside features Patrick Stewart in a minor role before he was famous.

Great film, made by Tobe hooper who made Texas chainsaw massacre and poltergeist to name a few"

I agree, it is a solid sci-fi film.

"The Covenant (Guy Ritchie). Very much enjoyed it.

Watched a bunch over the weekend. Super Mario Bros (OK for turning your brain off for 80mins), Evil Dead Rise (Passable horror masquerading as an Evil Dead movie), Dungeons & Dragons (didn't expect much, wasn't disappointed).

Off to see Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 tonight. "

Watched the covenant last night, was very good

Somewhere In The Ether…

I watched the Whitney Houston biopic, I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

Whilst certainly not as grandiose as Baz Lurhmann’s, Elvis, it was nonetheless a very interesting watch (albeit carrying a somewhat watered down, almost made for TV feeling).

Having said that, the actress playing the titular role was superb

One of best films I've seen in a long time I reckon..and totally agree they have definitely gone for the gore factor on it rather than jump scares like some other horror movies rely on..will there be a follow on..guess we'll just have to wait & see eh ?

So , following on from my previous post , I’ve just finished watching Winnie the Pooh - blood and honey. I can safely say it’s quite deeply disturbing viewing. Without mentioning any major spoilers, I can say that Winnie is certainly not a buddhist

The one about the bareknuckle boxer and his brother?

It's pretty cheesy and predictable.

Well acted though.

The Mother. A decent Jennifer Lopez thriller, I think it dropped on Netflix last Friday.

Still. : A Michael J.Fox Movie. A great documentary about what happens when an incurable optimist confronts an incurable disease. His foundation has rased over two billion dollars for Parkinson's research. I think that's on Apple.
