I've been watching Star Wars films this week.
I watched Return of the Jedi last night and saw they replaced the ghost of Anekin with the new actor.
Then I found out George Lucas also changed the ending music.

It's brilliant! There are many parody films, but Mel Brookes is the undisputed master in my book.
I probably love Spaceballs as much as Star Wars. There are surprising cameos too. John Hurt doing the chestburster scene! Tim Russ (ST:Voyager's Tuvok) is the trooper combing the desert who declares, "We ain't found shit!".
There's a lot of Star Wars love in that film too. |

I'm working my way through the Bad Batch at the moment, but for the last 2 nights I've watched The Emprire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It's all there.
Disney+ is great, it's also got all the Marvel stuff and, of course, Buffy! |

If you think Star Wars is only for kids, you should watch Andor sometime. It's suitably dark, grown-up Star Wars. Same director as Rogue One, which is arguably the best Star Wars movie. I loved it. |

For the kids there's still the Mandalorian, Boba Fett, Obi-wan, etc. etc. I think Andor finally represented the darker treatment of the themes of fascism and resistance and moral compromise that the cleaner-cut Star Wars franchise has always skirted. It's definitely one for the adults. Stellan Skarsgaard was just mesmerising to watch, exactly the kind of actor you'd want to cast in this kind of show. The exploration of the low-level imperials was nuanced as well. First rate. I can't wait for the next series.
