Not everyone likes bread but I am a big fun. Whether to dip in some lovely sauce, have it with some cold meats and cheeses or just as wonderful crispy toast. Anything from the traditional french baguette, to a pita or a bagel. My favoutite though are the more rustic wholemeal artisan breads we are now lucky enough to get much easier than ever before and of course make our own

I absolutely love the smell of freshly baked bread.

There's great little French artisan bakery in Cheltenham i often pop into. Their bread is fabulous.

Tonypandy.

My elderly neighbour adores fruited tea bread, so I make her a version with an enriched dough which she loves.

Problem is she would eat big loaf of it in a few days, so she's getting it rationed. I have a small loaf in a few times a week.

I like it when it's shaped into a bun. Or is it a barm or a bap or a teacake....?

The only proper Teacakes are made by Tunnocks. Definitely not bread related

I love baking fresh bread; and adding seeds, grains, etc. I am desperately trying to steer myself off white bread.

Still love banana bread though!!

The Low GI Cob from Lidl is my favourite bread. I'm a simple fellow.

Glycemic index. It's meant to be better for people trying to control their sugar levels. If it is too highcan cause a surge in blood sugar.
