Somewhere In The Ether…

Good folks: Did you know that sandwiches derive their name from the 4th Earl of Sandwich?

Is this not the most interesting fact you’ve ever heard in your life?

But enough of the history lesson;

What is your sandwich filling of choice my fine people?

for a penny

Crunchy peanut butter, banana and tahini between whole meal bread.

I was pleased one day when I asked for it in a sandwich bar in Edinburgh and the guy behind the counter asked if I’d been in earlier (I hadn’t). They served it with bean sprouts.

Ironically, as I really have no interest in the upcoming event on Saturday, Coronation Chicken. Absolute favourite, and my gran made the best tasting version imho.

Well rested, rare, rump steak with onions fried in the same pan.

On a baguette with butter and lots of black pepper
