"Any of the other bearded chaps find a lot of women on here are put off by their face fuzz?"
It's a marmite thing, women either love it or hate it. I had a lot of women when dating say they weren't keen on beards, went out with a lot that weren't sure, but most grew to love it |

Very rarely… a few beard haters but still genuinely very nice to talk to. |

I once (foolishly) shaved my beard for a girlfriend. She had a skin condition, and said my beard oil was making it flare up. I stopped using beard oil, still her skin condition persisted. She asked me to try trimming it, so I began self trimming and made a complete bollocks of it. I shaved the lot, being bald headed with more chins than the proverbial I ended up looking like a thumb. I promptly grew it back |

I once got a real itchy spot in my beard, I could not stop scratching the fucker. It lead to a small bald patch, I ignored it till it became incredibly noticeable. I shaved it off and almost cried, I immediately set to work on growing it back to its former glory. My stubble only grew in 2-3 small areas making me look like I had rat whiskers. I persevered as my beard had given me confidence in the past, and fortunately it paid dividends |

I like the look just not the title when it's taken really seriously. People can call themselves what they like of course but "Tim" from Crewe probably isn't a Viking, even though he has seen the TV series, has some tattoos and facial hair. So when I get a message with "VIKING" as the subject and asked if I enjoy a rough fucking i do tend roll my eyes a little.... |

It is I, Bishop Heahmund
These Vikings are fine warriors and I particularly have the hots for their Queen, Lagertha.
Hmmmm….if only I were to stop daydreaming about her in the midst of battle though. Indeed, some arsehole has just shoved a spear through me from behind…. |

Do Celts count???
The Beard can be platted and have the tatts also, and the swords
Plus we actually ran the vikings out of here,,, eventually, once we stopped bickering among ourselves about cattle, |

Not a Viking, but quite good with a sword...
Not THAT sword!! Jeez
What was quite annoying was when Vikings was running. Every year my friends would send me the link to become an extra on the show, and every year I'd copy and paste back to them the bit where it said "No facial tattoos"..
Got a bit boring after the 50th fekking time lol. |

I like to think I’m a bit Viking-y, though I lack the long hair. Or just head hair at all, though I compensate elsewhere .
I would be crap at all that pillaging stuff though; more likely to go around apologising for the mess and offering to tidy up . |

"I’m getting comfortable for this thread "
I did not understand the premise behind the thread. Assumed it was going to be for Scandinavians, or tall, blonde, bearded hunks. But it just seems to concentrate on beards and I got rid of mine when meetings resumed (so not remotely a viking) |

So I actually met a Norwegian anthropologist and had a huge conversation with her. It was really interesting, she was really hot too, but I managed to take in at least 40% of what she said.
Basically, my surname derives from ancient Norse. Not saying what it is, in case there's some clever shits reading this.
But she reckoned my family are probably descendent of Vikings that invaded Ireland and then settled NW coast of England.
Also I have a beard, so therefore Viking. |

Little known fact Viking was a trade much like pirates, explorers and colonisers rather than a race or tribe. The Tri Scandi area was also known for farmers and merchants in 800ad. Every day is a school day. det var så lidt Hehe x |

I am not sure what you consider a Viking?
Bearded, hairy chest, flecks of grey, dodgy 90’s tribal ink, various scars and curmudgeonly demeanour … if so then yes I tick those boxes |
