"Yes...... If you don't ask you don't get and what they don't know doesn't hurt them oh and generosity comes from the heart "
You actually have occasion to say Generosity comes from the heart? |

"A traditional saying around my neck of the woods: ‘A nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse.’
I have no idea how I’d throw it into a conversation but I like it nonetheless "
It's used to mean “Understood!” But of course it doesn’t mean that at all.
Or as Eric Idle said “ a nod’s as good as a wink to a blind bat”. |

"The means have to be consistent with the ends you hope to achieve.
If I didn't define me for myself, I would be crushed by other people's fantasies of me.
Fuck it dude, let's go bowling."
Do you really say those? |

Not very inspirational, nor something I'd recommend, but I pretty much live by 'fuck it!' and just see what happens! I seem to be a very lucky person and most things just work themselves out |

"Always smile, and always be polite.
I’d fail that in the first minute.
Why?"
Who can live with a permanent grin (joker doesn’t count) and who can honestly be polite at all times? I’d defo fail damn quickly. |

"Another few I live by and also have tattooed:
Each day’s a gift!
DILLIGAF
DILLIGAF. And anyone that knows that sings it! I just did.
My work here is done. "
Ha just had to Google that, love it!! My inbox is open for the pics btw |

"One I try to keep in my mind is borrowed from RuPaul, 'unless theyre paying your bills, pay them bitches no mind' x "
The one I like from RuPaul better is...
We are all born naked. The rest is all drag. |

Mine is the first line of my profile, it's a quote from a book.
"You should laugh every moment you live, for you will find it decidedly difficult afterwards." |

"Used to be “It is what it is” that others have posted.
Definitely more “hell, yeah!” now. Wanting to enjoy more, worry less or later"
It is what it is is in a way a give up line .. you make what it is and what you want it to be.. if you have no control or power you just say oh well is what it is |

I'm inclined to disagree. Accepting what is doesn't mean not having any influence on what is to me. Just that once things are decided that's it, there's no point dwelling on what is not to be. |

I'm inclined to agree.. I was aiming more towards failure of self goals but yeah I hear you |

"Something to call on to give you inspiration or solace?
The phrase that seems appropriate so often for me is
Oh well, it’s done now.
I prefer , thank fuck that's over. "
I use mine to mean “I can’t do anything about it now”, which is so often the case. |

"i have a couple.
But the one that repeatedly proves most true is
Never trust a Tory (MP, not voter)
"
Without the voters you wouldn't have the MPs, so don't trust either. |

I couldn't work out the logic of that one, either.
Unless it means you can trust tory voters to drop us in the shite at election time! |

You can definitely trust them to do that, as long as thry are making £
What i mean is, Tory mps always lie, its not always the fault of the voter that they get conned, Big red bis for example.
it could be the fault of other parties, not having better representatives though. |
