I always think including a bit about you, why you have messaged that person (compatibility or attraction), reference something that shows you have bothered to read their profile and a face pic if you are happy to.
No dick pics, no one liners, no marriage proposals, no copy and paste generic waffle.
Everyone will respond differently though as it’s not a one size fits all! |

Or a slightly more detailed message with a cock photo attached...fill your boots.

In a nutshell, this is a good summary.
I tend to react negatively to cock pics and "fancy a meet", "hey, wuu2" and descriptions of how they're going to "fill my ass with spunk".

Pick up that you've read through their profile and jumped through any hoops to catch those that don't read, comment positively on either a forum thread entry they've participated in, a photo or their profile and what they are looking for. Then a sentence about what you can offer (other than sex, most ladies can get that fairly trivially if that's all they want).
Try to inject a little humour and add a face pic if you fancy.

Read their profile. Do you meet their preferences? Do they actually meet yours? If not, don't message.
If you're drawn to something they've said, remark on that. If it's just the visual, they've got 100 messages already telling them their pics are hot, one more isn't going to make an impact.
Ask a question about something they've had to say. One that can't be answered in two words or less. Thought provoking is good and more likely to promote genuine engagement.
Do they ask for specific things in a first message? If so, abide by those requests. If you don't want to jump through hoops, don't, just move on and don't message them. If they say they don't want something in their inbox, don't throw that in there.
Everyone is different. Those are just the steps I personally would take and that I expect people who actually want to connect with me to follow a similar process. |

Whoever you message will most likely check out your profile before even contemplating reading what you've sent them (not that you'll know it most of the time as many women and couples view in  mode), so it's more important to make sure your profile is working for you and is as good as it can possibly be.
If they're not taken by your profile, your message will either be ignored or deleted. |

Others might respond but i got no where to go with it so i delete. I personally like funny comments.
Remember though, you can look at profiles and find something to tailor a message but if you are saying things that don't feel 'you' maybe keep looking for a more natural chat starter
