REM - Everybody Hurts
Not only is it a great song but after 9/11 I was working nights in a factory every machine stopped for a minutes silence radio went quiet then that song started playing, always reminds me of that moment |

Move closer was the snog song at house parties when I was a young.. 5th/lower 6th and upper 6th!
Happy days…. That’s when I was in my ‘glory years’… I was the pride to boys 5th year when I snogged upper 6th Naomi Robertson… I didn’t have to buy a drink for weeks!!! |

One of the great things about music is the power of its association with memory - love this story! |

"So many and it changes depending on where I am and how I'm feeling. But today it is Sunshine on Leith by the Proclaimers"
Amazing see them sing it live. I’ve seen so many videos from Hibs at the weekend - we played it at my uncles funeral |

Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No.1
That scene in 'Man on Wire' where he steps out. The whole build up through the documentary and then the emotional release when the music starts. Gets me every time!

Brian Adams - Everything I Do
I was 18 and one of my best friends, she was 17 got hit by car and died. That song was in the charts for most of the the summer. I went to her funeral and they played this song in church. I remember it all like yesterday and need a 'moment' whenever I hear it played. It always brings out a few tears
